Cashier

About the Role: The Cashier is the first and last point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing friendly and efficient service, handling transactions, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process all guest payments, including cash, card, and digital transactions.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer, reconciling it at the start and end of each shift.
• Greet customers warmly, take food and beverage orders, and answer questions about the menu.
• Ensure the front counter and point-of-sale area are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
• Assist with packaging take-away and delivery orders.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Essential: Proven experience operating a cash register or POS system.
• Essential: Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail for handling money.
• Essential: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a cheerful and professional demeanor.
• Preferred: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
