Cost Accountant

Western Hotel Medinat Zayed is hiring a specialized Cost Accountant responsible for analyzing and controlling costs across all hotel operations, particularly F&B and inventory. This role is crucial for financial performance and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), operational expenses, and food/beverage costs.
• Conduct regular inventory valuations and stock take procedures.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analysis, and departmental budget support.
• Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.

Requirements:

• Previous experience (3+ years) as a Cost Accountant, preferably in the hotel or F&B industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Opera PMS, SunSystems).
