Key Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Certification:

• Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority License) is mandatory for this position.

Core Qualifications:

• A recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Successful completion of residency/training in General Practice or Family Medicine.
• Proven clinical experience as a General Practitioner.

Job Description & Responsibilities

The General Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary medical care to a diverse patient population. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments.
• Diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic illnesses.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging).
• Developing and managing personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medication.
• Providing preventative care, health education, and counseling to patients.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with DHA standards.
• Collaborating effectively with nurses, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
