The Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant environment across the group's educational facilities, including schools and nurseries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections of all premises.
- Ensure compliance with local UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Organize safety training for staff and students (e.g., fire drills, first aid).
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and maintain detailed records.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies as required.
- Requirements:
- Relevant certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within an educational or facilities management setting.
- Knowledge of UAE health and safety laws.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
