Ophthalmologist

Gaelan Hospital is recruiting a talented Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, refractive errors, and the performance of ophthalmic surgery (e.g., cataract, retina, glaucoma).

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Perform necessary surgical procedures (specialization in a sub-field like Vitreo-Retina or Cataract is highly valued).
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other treatment options.
• Collaborate with Optometrists and other specialists.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD/MS) degree with certification/residency in Ophthalmology.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization clinical experience.
• Eligibility for Specialist/Consultant MOH licensing in Sharjah.
• Proficiency in advanced diagnostic equipment and surgical techniques.
