Job Overview

GEMS Education is seeking a talented Photographer/Videographer to join our in-house marketing team. This role involves creating high-quality visual content for marketing campaigns, communications, and events. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both photography and videography, capable of managing shoots in diverse settings, and proficient in post-production editing.

Key Responsibilities

Photography:

• Select and prepare equipment, props, and settings for each shoot.
• Properly light subjects using natural or artificial light, including flashes and reflectors.
• Capture compelling images aligned with creative briefs and campaign requirements.
• Retouch, enhance, and resize images using Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent software.

Videography:

• Direct and operate multi-camera studio setups and live event shoots.
• Insert graphics, on-screen texts, and manage studio lighting and audio.
• Edit raw footage to create polished video content for campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure visual content meets project goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Photography, Digital Film & Production, or related field.
• Certifications in video/photo editing are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years’ corporate experience, or 5+ years freelance experience.
• Mastery of photography/videography equipment and editing software.
• Strong technical skills in both stills and video, including lighting, composition, and camera operation.
• Tech-savvy with an eye for detail and creativity.
• Must undergo a UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check as per safeguarding policies.
