ME Dubai by Meliá, located in the iconic Opus by Omniyat and designed by Dame Zaha Hadid, is looking for a Receptionist to join its Front Desk team. The role supports the Front Office Supervisor in ensuring efficient, guest-focused operations while upholding Meliá’s service excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service during guest check-in and check-out.
- Accurately handle billing, payment processing, and guest records.
- Maintain updated knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and policies.
- Coordinate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest feedback proactively and resolve issues efficiently.
- Promote service excellence, brand values, and guest satisfaction.
- Support team members and foster strong internal and external relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality standards.
- Work rotational night shifts to ensure 24/7 Front Desk coverage.
🎯 Skills & Qualifications
- Previous Front Office / Guest Service experience in luxury hotels preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with hotel PMS systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and guest-focused personality.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
