AC Technician

Job Summary

Al Saqr Property Management is seeking a skilled and highly motivated AC Technician to join our young and dynamic Facilities Management team in Abu Dhabi. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the optimal function and efficiency of all Air Conditioning systems across our managed properties.

Key Responsibilities

As an AC Technician, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of various AC systems, including:

• Installation & Maintenance: Execute expert installation and perform comprehensive preventive maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of AC units, including split, cassette, ducted, and package units, ensuring peak operational efficiency.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Promptly diagnose and efficiently repair complex electrical and mechanical defects within all AC systems.
• Refrigerant Handling: Safely handle, recover, and recycle refrigerants in strict adherence to environmental and safety standards.
• Chiller System Support: Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance tasks on chiller systems.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all maintenance work, repairs completed, and necessary materials or major repair requirements.
• Team Support: Demonstrate flexibility by assisting other technical teams (e.g., electricians or plumbers) as required.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety standards, operational policies, and local HVAC regulations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Category Requirement:

Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in HVAC Systems or a related field.

ExperienceMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, repair, and preventive maintenance, preferably within the Facilities Management (FM) sector.

Technical Skills

Proficiency across multiple AC systems (split, cassette, ducted, package units). Basic operational knowledge of chiller systems.

Core Skills

Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

Additional

Immediate joiner (preferred) with the flexibility to work varied shifts and respond promptly to emergency calls. Must be physically fit to handle equipment and work effectively in diverse environmental conditions.
