Accountant

Role Summary

?We are seeking a proactive and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate record-keeping, financial reporting, and compliance, contributing directly to the efficient operation of our educational institutions.

?Key Responsibilities (Expected)

?Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration.

?Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) and reports on a regular basis.

?Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

?Ensure timely bank payments and reconciliation.

?Manage budget forecasting and variance analysis.

?Ensure strict compliance with all local financial regulations and tax requirements.

?Qualifications and Requirements

?Educational Qualification: Must hold a B.Com degree (Bachelor of Commerce) or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

?Experience: Relevant, demonstrated experience as an Accountant is mandatory, preferably within the education sector or a multi-unit organization.

?Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and MS Excel.

?Availability: Immediate joiners will be given strong preference.

?Attributes: Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, and high ethical standards.
