Job Description

The Commis III is an integral part of the culinary team, assisting in food preparation and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in the kitchen. You will have a clear focus on hygiene and adherence to standard procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all potentially hazardous foods at the correct temperature according to HACCP guidelines.

  • Ensure the quality of all food items and immediately notify the manager if a product does not meet specifications.

  • Carry full responsibilities of the assigned section when the immediate supervisor is absent.
  • Work strictly according to the menu specifications (including picture and portion control) set by the Chef.

  • Keep the working area at all times in hygienic conditions according to hotel rules.

  • Communicate all relevant and important matters to your direct supervisor.

  • Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and an extremely high standard of social skills, fostering good inter-departmental relations.

  • Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times to promote a good company image.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role or culinary training preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform kitchen tasks efficiently.
