Job Description

The Head Waiter Cum Supervisor acts as the shift leader, assisting the management team while providing superior service. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the dining area and mentoring junior service staff.

?Key Responsibilities

?Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts, including assigning duties and managing breaks.

?Oversee table service, ensuring guests are seated promptly and receive attentive service.

?Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

?Train new waiters and continually coach the team on service standards and product knowledge.

?Address minor guest concerns and escalate complex issues to the Restaurant Manager.

?Required Skills & Qualifications

?Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or head waiter role.

?Excellent communication and guest service skills.

?A natural leader with the ability to motivate a team.

?Proficiency in POS systems and basic cash handling.
