Heavy Duty Driver

GULF INTERNATIONAL LLC, a part of the Albatha Consumer division, is seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Driver to join our delivery team. This crucial role is responsible for ensuring the successful, safe, and efficient transportation and delivery of goods across our network.

Job Description: The Heavy Duty Driver's primary goal is to ensure 100% first-time delivery success with zero complaints while maximizing the efficiency and value of each delivery run. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivery Excellence: Achieve 100% first-time delivery success with zero customer complaints.
• Efficiency: Maximize deliveries per truck in terms of quantity and value to meet set benchmarks and optimize utilization of delivery resources.
• Documentation & Compliance: Verify stock against documents before loading, accurately handle GRV (Goods Received Voucher) and sales returns with proper documentation, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) diligently.
• Logistics & Reporting: Report any delivery discrepancies promptly for resolution and ensure delivery closure within 24 hours by submitting Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Customer Service: Maintain courteous behavior with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Vehicle & Equipment: Uphold grooming and hygiene standards for self and vehicle, and maintain and properly use delivery resources like vehicles and trolleys.
• Coordination: Communicate delivery concerns with supervisors and the sales team.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum 10th Grade Pass (Must be able to read and write in English).
• License: UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (10 Ton / Trailer) is mandatory.
• Physical & Mental: Strong, healthy, and possess knowledge of UAE traffic laws and road networks. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and solve problems.
• Work Ethic: Must be independent and have strong team-oriented work capability.
