Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Storekeeper to join a team focused on maintaining the integrity and control of the Hotel Inventory Stores. The core scope of this role is to ensure all goods are correctly received, stored, issued, and accounted for, safeguarding the financial stability of the hotel and minimizing risks.
The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain the correct and safe storage of all items in a safe, sanitary, and organized manner.
- Ensure proper labeling of items, including names, dates, and corresponding par levels.
- Conduct physical inventories of storerooms strictly within stipulated guidelines.
- Accurately enter issued goods into the system when necessary.
- Issuing & Receiving:
- Receive all incoming goods, ensuring they are labeled and verified.
- Issue goods only against the corresponding authorized requisition forms and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Review and accurately record any goods issued after hours.
- Stock Management & Compliance:
- Alert the supervisor immediately regarding any dead or slow-moving stock to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.
- Ensure all storerooms are locked, supervised, organized, and clean at all times.
- Adhere to and understand all Kempinski Policies & Procedures and the Code of Conduct.
- Communication & Support:
- Communicate with the supervisor promptly regarding any discrepancies or potential problems.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Management and assist in other areas of Cost Control as needed.
