APEX is hiring an experienced Camp Boss to manage the welfare, facilities, and general accommodation services for personnel residing in our remote onshore camps and offshore barges. This role is central to maintaining high living standards and morale in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Welfare and Accommodation:
- Oversee the entire camp facility, ensuring all living quarters, recreational areas, and common facilities are well-maintained and compliant with standards.
- Manage the allocation of accommodation and handle resident issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Service Coordination:
- Coordinate non-catering services such as laundry, cleaning, and maintenance with relevant teams.
- Monitor stock and supplies for camp operations and place orders as needed.
- Safety and Regulations:
- Ensure all camp operations adhere to safety, health, and fire regulations.
- Serve as a key leader in emergency response procedures within the camp or barge.
- Experience Profile:
- Proven, substantial experience as a Camp Boss or in a similar supervisory role within the remote site services industry.
- Must possess strong communication, leadership, and organization skills, with the ability to manage staff and work under pressure.
