The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing all financial transactions within the restaurant. This role requires speed, accuracy in handling cash and electronic payments, and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests during payment. The Cashier also assists in end-of-day reconciliation and reporting.
- Responsibilities:
- Process all sales transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly.
- Maintain clean and organized cashier stations.
- Assist in daily closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and balancing the till.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cashier, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong numerical and basic mathematical skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy in handling financial transactions.
