Job Description
Coop House is hiring a Counter Salesman / Saleslady responsible for sales and customer service related to butchery items in a retail or restaurant setting. This role requires product knowledge, excellent selling skills, and adherence to hygiene standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert customer service and sell butchery items (meat, poultry) from the counter.
- Advise customers on different cuts of meat, preparation methods, and storage.
- Handle sales transactions, ensuring accuracy in weighing, pricing, and payment processing.
- Ensure the display counter is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing, adhering to all food safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Customer service experience with butchery items in a restaurant or retail setting is preferred.
- Previous sales and customer interaction experience.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards.
- Strong communication and salesmanship skills.
