ELAIA (Bistro | Wine Bar) is urgently seeking a hands-on, energetic, and passionate culinary professional to join our kitchen team as a Demi Chef de Partie (CDP) for the Cold Section. We highly value applicants with European experience in the restaurant industry.

Job Description: The Demi CDP will be responsible for the preparation and execution of all items originating from the cold section, which typically includes appetizers, salads, cold entrÊes, charcuterie, and garnishes. This role demands fundamental culinary skills, strong attention to detail in plating and presentation, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-quality restaurant is required.
  • Fundamental culinary skills relevant to the cold section (e.g., knife skills, vegetable preparation, basic sauce/vinaigrette making).
  • Experience as a Demi CDP or strong Commis I is highly desirable.
  • A strong passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Specific European experience in similar roles is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and maintain an organized station.
