Job Description
The Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) is a junior supervisor, reporting to the Chef de Partie. This role requires foundational skills and the ability to manage a small section of the kitchen or assist the CDP in high-volume operations.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience: 1â2 years of experience as a Commis Chef or equivalent entry-level position.
- Education: Culinary school diploma or strong on-the-job training record.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to run a small station independently during service (e.g., preparing salads or cold starters).
- Understanding of basic costing and portion control.
- Ability to train and mentor Commis Chefs.
- Strong knowledge of safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
