Coop House is hiring a skilled Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to assume a supervisory role in the specialized Hot Section, Josper, or Robata stations. The DCDP will be responsible for leading the section during service, ensuring quality, and guiding Commis staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the assigned kitchen section (Hot/Josper/Robata) during service, ensuring consistent quality and speed of food preparation.
- Supervise and mentor Commis Chefs, assigning tasks and overseeing their mise en place.
- Monitor product inventory, ensure proper food rotation, and minimize waste within the section.
- Ensure strict adherence to high-heat cooking safety protocols and food hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a DCDP or strong Commis 1 experience in a high-end kitchen.
- Specialized experience or technical knowledge of grilling equipment like Josper or Robata.
- Professional culinary qualification/certification.
- Strong leadership and quality control focus.
