Duty Engineer

The Tower Plaza Hotel is seeking a qualified Duty Engineer to be the shift supervisor and lead technical responder for all engineering issues during their shift. This critical role ensures the hotel runs smoothly and safely 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the engineering team and maintenance staff during the assigned shift.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all technical emergencies and critical system failures.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel plant rooms, critical equipment, and building systems.
• Ensure all maintenance logs, shift handovers, and technical reports are accurately completed.
• Maintain the safety and operational continuity of the hotel premises.

Requirements:

• Previous experience (3+ years) in a supervisory or senior technician role within a large hotel or facility.
• Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across all building systems (MEP/BMS).
• Proven ability to manage emergencies and lead a team under pressure.
