English Teacher

GEMS New Millennium School invites applications for a dedicated English Teacher for the Upper Primary section (Grades 3 to 5), starting in April 2026. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners with creative and effective strategies for developing reading, writing, comprehension, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum for Grades 3-5.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and necessary intervention.
• Create a positive, motivating, and literacy-rich classroom environment.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and school-wide professional development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed.) is highly preferred.
• Minimum experience in teaching English at the Primary level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum delivery and assessment methods.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
