English Teacher

GEMS New Millennium School is seeking an exceptional and experienced English Teacher for the Secondary section (Grades 9 to 12), starting in April 2026. This role involves preparing senior students for external examinations and developing advanced literary analysis and composition skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-level English Language and Literature instruction to students in Grades 9-12.
• Prepare students rigorously for board examinations (e.g., CBSE, IGCSE/A-Levels if applicable).
• Assess written work, provide detailed feedback, and track student performance towards target grades.
• Mentor students and contribute to the overall academic excellence of the Secondary School.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in English Literature, Education, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• A recognized teaching qualification is required.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in teaching English at the Secondary level, including examination classes.
• Expert knowledge of senior-level curriculum content and assessment methodologies.
