This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, assisting with financial statements, performing bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with all hotel accounting procedures and brand standards in a luxury environment.
- Responsibilities:
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, accounting policies, and tax regulations.
- Support the finance department with daily tasks and month-end closing procedures.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Accountant, preferably within the luxury hotel or hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
