General Mechanic

The General Mechanic is a key member of the Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel's plant, machinery, and mechanical systems. This role requires expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical maintenance to ensure the hotel operates safely and efficiently according to luxury brand standards.

• Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair general mechanical failures across the hotel premises.
• Assist in the implementation of the preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to local regulations and hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance work performed.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a General Mechanic, preferably in a large commercial property or hotel engineering department.
• Strong expertise in mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Technical certification or diploma in a relevant engineering field.
