Job Description
The HSE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all health, safety, and environmental programs and procedures, with a focus on the Facilities Management (FM) sector. The goal is to ensure a safe working environment and maintain full regulatory compliance across all project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks to all employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all FM operations comply with local UAE regulations and international HSE standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of dedicated HSE experience specifically within the Facilities Management or related construction/engineering industry.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to implement effective safety protocols in a dynamic operational environment.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate safety procedures clearly to a diverse workforce.
- Working knowledge of relevant UAE environmental and safety legislation.
