JIC is hiring an IT Administrator with 4–6 years of proven experience. The role is critical for managing servers, networks, cybersecurity, and providing 24/7 technical support to staff across the Abu Dhabi location.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, and system security.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network devices.
- Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, and on-site assistance (24*7).
- Monitor and maintain backups, system updates, and patching schedules.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory, O365, ERP, HRMS etc.).
- Ensure cybersecurity standards and best practices are implemented and followed.
- Oversee IT assets, inventory, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT purchases, maintenance, and support services.
- Support cloud-based services and applications (Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace).
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects and improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is mandatory.
- Minimum 4–6 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ERP, O365.
- Experience with networking technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
