AC Technician

Role Overview

Corniche Hotel Sharjah is seeking a highly skilled AC Technician to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across our luxury property. Your expertise will directly impact guest satisfaction by ensuring a perfectly climate-controlled environment throughout our rooms, suites, and public facilities.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance on Chillers, FCUs (Fan Coil Units), AHUs (Air Handling Units), and split/package units to prevent system failures.
• Diagnostic & Repair: Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems, including compressor replacements, gas charging, and leak detection.
• Energy Efficiency: Monitor system performance to ensure optimal energy consumption and compliance with UAE environmental and safety standards.
• Guest Service: Respond with urgency to guest room temperature complaints, ensuring a professional and discreet presence in guest areas.
• Water Treatment: Assist in the monitoring and chemical treatment of cooling towers and chilled water systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of refrigerant usage, repairs performed, and parts inventory.

Candidate Requirements

• Location: Must be currently residing in the UAE (immediate joiners preferred).
• Education: Technical diploma or vocational training in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience, ideally within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment or a major commercial facility.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints/circuit diagrams and experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
