Banquet Shift Leader

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is hiring a dedicated and service-oriented Banquet Shift Leader (Arabic Speaker) to join its luxury hospitality operations. This role is ideal for experienced banquet professionals who have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-end environment.

As a Banquet Shift Leader, you will be responsible for supervising banquet operations during assigned shifts, ensuring flawless execution of events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions while upholding The Ritz-Carlton’s legendary service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead banquet service staff during events and functions
• Ensure banquet setups, service flow, and breakdowns meet luxury brand standards
• Act as the main point of contact for guests during events, especially Arabic-speaking clients
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, sales, and event planning teams
• Brief staff on event requirements, service standards, and guest expectations
• Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-job coaching
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational procedures
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Assist management with scheduling, inventory control, and reporting

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience in banquet operations within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Excellent communication and guest engagement abilities
• Ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude aligned with Ritz-Carlton standards
