Room Attendant

We are looking for a meticulous, dedicated, and hardworking Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. Job Summary:

As a Room Attendant, you will be the backbone of our guest satisfaction, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to the comfort and memorable experience of every guest staying at our resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning: Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms (sinks, toilets, showers/bathtubs).
• Supply Restocking: Ensure guest rooms are replenished with all necessary amenities, linens, towels, and supplies according to resort standards.
• Public Areas: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other public areas as assigned.
• Guest Interaction: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional items or assistance, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Reporting: Immediately report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas to the supervisor.
• Lost & Found: Strictly follow procedures for handling and reporting lost-and-found items.
• Linen Management: Handle and sort linens properly, adhering to procedures for soiled and clean linen.
• Equipment Care: Properly use, maintain, and store housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as resort policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a similar cleaning role is preferred but not essential; fresh candidates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply.
• An eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within shift hours.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift items for the duration of the shift.
• A friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Must be a team player with a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Ready to join immediately will be an advantage.
