We are seeking a vigilant, experienced, and highly professional Security Supervisor to lead our security team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the resort at all times.
Job Summary:
The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security department, supervising the security staff, and ensuring the safety and security of the entire resort premises. You will implement security protocols, manage emergencies, and ensure full compliance with local laws and SIRA regulations. A valid SIRA Supervisor License is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and coordinate the activities of the security team, ensuring all posts are manned and all staff are performing their duties effectively.
- SIRA Compliance: Ensure all security operations and personnel are in strict compliance with SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) rules and regulations. Maintain all necessary SIRA-related documentation and licenses.
- Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the entire resort, including guest floors, public areas, back-of-house, and the perimeter. Monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent any security breaches or suspicious activities.
- Incident Management: Respond promptly and effectively to all security incidents, emergencies, and guest complaints, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, theft, and disturbances. Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports.
- Access Control: Oversee and manage the access control system, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests enter the premises.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk and security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
- Emergency Procedures: Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing emergency response plans. Conduct regular drills for the security team and other staff members.
- Lost & Found: Oversee the proper logging, storage, and return of lost-and-found items in coordination with other departments.
- Liaison: Maintain a professional relationship with local police and civil defense authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Mandatory: Valid SIRA Supervisor License (UAE).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the security field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for report writing and log maintenance.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong plus.
- A valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
