Job Description
North Gate British Private School is hiring a Librarian. The candidate must have a degree in Library Science and prior experience as a librarian in an educational setting in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all library resources, including books, digital materials, and media.
- Support students and staff in utilizing library resources for research and learning.
- Develop and maintain the library collection, ensuring resources align with the British Curriculum.
- Promote literacy and reading across the school community.
Requirements:
- Must have a degree in Library Science is mandatory.
- Prior experience as a librarian in an educational setting in the UAE is mandatory.
- Strong organizational and collection management skills.
