Painting Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise painting crews and plan daily shipyard painting activities.
• Coordinate surface preparation and coating works according to schedules.
• Ensure use of correct paint materials, application methods, and curing processes.
• Monitor coating quality (DFT/WFT) to meet marine and client standards.
• Inspect completed work, manage non-conformities, and ensure proper rework.
• Enforce HSE rules, PPE usage, and environmental compliance on-site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe handling of paints and chemicals.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in shipyard or marine painting.
• Proven leadership experience in supervising large painting teams.
• Knowledge of marine coating standards and inspection techniques.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of marine painting systems and surface preparation.
• Strong supervisory and project management skills.
• Expertise in health and safety protocols related to chemical handling.
