Pipeline Patroller

Royal Gas is seeking a highly experienced and certified Pipeline Patroller to ensure the security and integrity of our natural gas pipeline network in Abu Dhabi. This is a critical full-time role requiring technical expertise and diligent fieldwork.

Requirements:

• Certification & Experience: Technical Certification in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a similar pipeline patrolling or inspection position within Natural Gas utility services.
• License: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities (Key Tasks):

• Carry out patrolling of the entire network using a vehicle. Where vehicular access is restricted, patrolling shall be conducted by foot.
• Ensure that there is no third-party interference and no deterioration of the pipeline infrastructure.
• Conduct inspection of exposed crossings for security, mechanical defects, and the condition of protective coatings, etc.
• Inspect condition of signage and pipe route markers/posts and bollards.
• Perform route checks to ascertain the location of warning signposts or marker plates that have been displaced by third parties or natural causes.
• Inspect valve chambers for damage or other signs of concern such as missing identification tags, chamber cover wear, or deformation of the chamber's support/degradation.
• Identify hot spots (locations susceptible for interference) on the network and immediately report to the Client/Supervisor.
• Prepare records of patrolling activity, inspections, and findings in the approved Client format, including system-generated patrolling reports with traced maps (IVMS system).
