Pool Lifeguard

We are hiring a dedicated and certified Pool Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and patrons using our aquatic facilities in the UAE. This role requires exceptional swimming skills, first aid proficiency, and an unwavering focus on accident prevention.

? Key Responsibilities

• Surveillance: Continuously monitor the pool area and swimming activities with a high level of concentration to identify and prevent potential dangers.
• Emergency Action: Execute rescues, administer first aid, CPR, and artificial respiration in the event of an aquatic emergency or injury.
• Rule Enforcement: Strictly enforce all pool rules, safety regulations, and water safety policies.
• Facility Maintenance: Inspect the pool area, equipment, and water conditions (e.g., chemical levels) for safety and usability, and assist with basic cleaning and maintenance of the pool deck.
• Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork following any rescue, first aid administration, or accident.

? Skills & Qualifications

• Mandatory: Valid EIACH (Emirates International Accreditation Centre for Hospitality) or OHC (Occupational Health & Safety) approved Lifeguard Certification for the UAE.
• Certifications: Current certifications in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Swimming Proficiency: Exceptional swimming skills and physical ability to perform water rescues (e.g., retrieving a weight from the deepest part of the pool).
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English to warn swimmers and interact with guests.
• Personal Attributes: High sense of responsibility, quick decision-making ability, and the capacity to work in a demanding, high-stakes environment.
