Gulf Model School is urgently hiring a Purchase & Stores Officer to manage the full cycle of procurement and inventory for school operations. The role requires strong organizational and negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of all necessary supplies and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of all necessary school supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels accurately to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Coordinate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and external parties to secure optimal pricing and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all purchases, quotations, and current stock levels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Business or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing and inventory management, with experience in a school or similar institution preferred.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and specialized inventory software.
