- We are seeking a highly organized Site Admin & Document Control Officer to act as the central hub for project information at our Abu Dhabi site. This role requires a professional who understands the lifecycle of construction documentation and can manage the high-volume flow of technical data between Burtville Developments, consultants, and contractors.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
- EDMS Management: Establish and maintain a rigorous Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Ensure all project data, from blueprints to shop drawings, is indexed, searchable, and up to date.
- Workflow Supervision: Manage the lifecycle of technical submittals, including RFIs (Requests for Information), NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and Site Instructions. Track response times to ensure no project delays.
- Site Administration: Serve as the primary secretarial support for the Engineering Department, drafting formal correspondence, preparing detailed meeting minutes, and managing the site office logistics.
- Quality Compliance: Audit all incoming and outgoing documentation to ensure it meets Burtvilleโs internal standards and UAE construction regulations before distribution.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for document exchange between the site team, head office, and external consulting engineers.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly document status reports for the Project Manager to highlight pending approvals or bottlenecks.
- Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience, specifically within a Consulting Engineer or Tier-1 Developer environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Aconex, Procore, or similar Construction Management software.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite and professional business writing.
- Ability to handle confidential project data with high integrity.
