Job Description
The Spray Painter will prepare, prime, and paint fabricated steel structures and components to ensure they are protected from corrosion and meet aesthetic requirements. This involves surface preparation (cleaning, blasting, sanding), mixing paint, and skillful application using industrial spray painting equipment.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Industrial or Automotive Spray Painter, preferably with steel structures.
- Expert knowledge of surface preparation techniques (e.g., abrasive blasting standards).
- Proficiency in using airless and conventional spray painting equipment.
- Understanding of various industrial coatings (epoxy, polyurethane, anti-corrosive) and film thickness measurements.
- Strong adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations for paint handling.
