The role is crucial in maintaining optimal stock levels, supporting production needs, and driving data-driven decision-making through KPI tracking and performance reports. 🔸𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 & 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 ●Oversee daily operations of the stores/warehouse, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and issuance of materials (steel, consumables, tools, etc.). ●Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or inventory software. ●Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verifications. 𝙆𝙋𝙄 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 & 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 ●Prepare and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: • Inventory turnover ratio • Stock ageing • Material issuance accuracy • Stock variance percentage • Delivery lead time ●Generate weekly/monthly reports to management and suggest corrective actions where needed. 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 & 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 ●Implement and follow SOPs for store operations including receiving, issuing, and documentation. ●Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently, complying with HSE and quality guidelines. ●Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts departments for timely material movement and documentation. 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 ●Supervise and guide storekeepers and helpers. ●Provide training to store team members on process adherence, system usage, and safety. 𝙀𝙍𝙋 & 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢 𝙐𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 ●Ensure all stock transactions are recorded real-time in ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally). ●Raise GRNs, MRNs, and track requisitions within the system. 🔸𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: •Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. •5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a steel or industrial manufacturing environment. •Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). •Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices. •Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of preparing actionable reports. •Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
