About the Role

GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi is seeking an innovative Primary Teacher to join our successful Primary Department from January 2026.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) OR an initial degree with PGCE / PGDE (or equivalent) in Primary Education.
• Minimum 3 years’ Primary teaching experience (IB or NCofE preferred, but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of IB PYP framework and Approaches to Teaching (preferred).
• Alignment with IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile values.
• Track record of helping students achieve success and passion for innovation in teaching.
• Availability to start January 2026.
• Advanced qualifications (preferred but not essential).
