Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain core money exchange applications (e.g., currency trading platforms, transaction processing systems).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions in accordance with company security policies.
  • Support integration of applications with banking systems, CRM, AML/KYC platforms, and other compliance tools.
  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams for software upgrades, security patches, and bug fixes.
  • Maintain and update system documentation, configuration standards, and change logs.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, compliance checks, and generate system reports as needed.
  • Provide training and technical support to internal teams (operations, finance, etc.) for effective use of applications.
  • Implement data backup and recovery processes in collaboration with the IT infrastructure team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application administration or IT support, ideally within the financial services or currency exchange sector.
  • Strong hands-on experience in system/application administration is a must.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations related to the currency exchange industry, including AML, KYC, and data privacy laws.
  • Experience working with databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including basic scripting and query writing.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring tools, incident management, and performance tuning.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across IT, operations, finance, and compliance teams.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail for managing change logs, SOPs, and system manuals.
