Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis I to join our culinary team. This foundational role is essential for supporting the kitchen brigade by efficiently preparing the mise en place, handling core food preparation tasks, and assisting with food presentation to maintain high operational and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation:
  • Assemble and prepare ingredients required for all menu items (mis-en-place).
  • Prepare and execute simple food items as directed by senior chefs.
  • Assist the culinary team with final food presentation during service.
  • Kitchen Operations & Maintenance:
  • Prepare all designated kitchen equipment for daily use.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen area, ensuring all equipment and stations are sanitized.
  • Handle waste and linen management according to established procedures.
  • Inventory & Stock:
  • Assist with the detailed checking, receiving, and storing of goods.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all storage areas.
  • Professionalism & Compliance:
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene at all times.
  • Attend all required briefings promptly.
