Nutritionist

AL-FARABI MEDICAL CENTER is looking for an experienced and licensed Clinical Nutritionist to provide expert nutritional counseling and tailored diet therapy. This role supports patient health by managing chronic conditions and promoting healthy eating habits based on clinical evidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nutritional assessments, evaluating patient dietary needs and clinical history.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized, evidence-based nutrition plans (e.g., for diabetes, obesity, hypertension).
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling, offering practical, actionable diet recommendations.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists to integrate nutritional care into comprehensive treatment plans.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and follow-up plans in the patient's health record.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold a valid license or eligibility letter from the Department of Health (DOH - Abu Dhabi).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Mandatory experience working within medical centers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent counseling skills, empathetic style, and specialized knowledge of medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
