Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Guest Services, the Parking Attendant is responsible for creating an excellent first impression for every guest. You will be the ambassador of the hotel at the entrance, ensuring a warm welcome, managing vehicle flow, and maintaining the hotel's driveway appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist guests according to Fairmont Brand Standards, ensuring each person receives a warm, personal greeting upon arriving or departing.
  • Greets all guests courteously, using the guest’s name whenever possible.
  • Remain observant and respond efficiently to every guest interaction.
  • Responsible for maintaining the hotel ground appearance and driveways up to the highest standards.
  • Reports suspicious people, behavior, and vehicles to Security immediately.
  • Handles complaints efficiently and reports necessary information to the Supervisor.
  • Follows the Occupational Health & Safety regulations and ensures adherence to Fairmont’s Code of Ethics at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must hold a valid U.A.E. driving license.
  • Previous experience in Guest Services is preferred.
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation, and sophisticated communication skills.
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal & written); a second language is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Must be physically fit in order to lift items up to 30 kilograms.
