QA/QC Engineers

GECO, a member of the Albatha Engineering Group, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our MEP Division in Sharjah. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and compliance of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installations on our projects.

Job Description: The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures for all MEP works. Key duties include conducting regular inspections, verifying materials and workmanship against specifications and standards, documenting all quality-related activities, and ensuring full project compliance with regulatory requirements and project plans.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: 6-8 years of dedicated QA/QC experience specifically in MEP Projects (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
• Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred (ideally in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil).
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of international and local quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices for MEP systems.
• Compliance: Ability to manage project documentation, prepare inspection and test plans (ITPs), and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and reporting skills for liaising with project teams, contractors, and client representatives.
