Quality and Asset Integrity Engineer

Royal Gas is seeking an accomplished and highly certified Quality and Asset Integrity Engineer to ensure all operations, assets, and maintenance activities comply with the highest international and company standards. This is a critical role demanding deep expertise in Oil & Gas Integrity Management and Quality Systems.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience: 8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Licensing: Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory) and Must.
• Certification (Mandatory/Essential):
• CSWIP 3.1 certification is mandatory.
• Certified Welding Engineer qualification from TWI, UK is preferred.
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is preferred.
• Certification (Highly Preferred):
• NACE Certification Level 2 (preferred) for both Corrosion and Coating.
• IRCA ISO 9001:2015 LA Certification is preferred.
• ASNT NDT Level 2 (RTFI) as an advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge with SAP-EAM System Module is preferred.

Core Responsibilities:

• Reporting: Report all observed Non-Conformances that deviate from established procedure, company corporate standards, project specification, and regulatory standards.
• Management Systems: Have knowledge of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (ISO 14001), and OHSMS (ISO 45001).
• Compliance: Oversee conformances to Client and international practices and standards applicable to the activity (e.g., ASME, IGEM, NFPA, API).
• Documentation: Review and comment on Method Statements (MS) and Risk Assessment (RA) and ensure QC personnel review and complete the MSRA prior to approval.
• Auditing: Generate Internal Audit Plan, Checklists, and conduct internal audits as an internal auditor.
• Client Compliance: Report all non-conformances to protect Client QHSE standards and requirements.
• Work Procedures: Write work procedures for each activity that complies with Client, project specification, and international regulatory standards.
• Permits: Ensure all permits and authorizations are in hand prior to commencing work (e.g., Tie-in, Commissioning of Natural Gas Network, Pressure testing, Excavation, Routine/Non-routine activities).
• Asset Maintenance: Conduct Earth Pit Resistance Surveying; Electronic Volume Corrector (EVC) configuration; Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) of Natural Gas Distribution Asset and High-Pressure Assets.
• Training: Conduct Process Safety Fundamentals (PSF) Session to personnel.
• Logistics: Keep the updated log register and monitor critical spare part materials inventory, as well as the Store room and Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV) materials and equipment.
• Procurement: Report any materials used or consumed and place the order when necessary to the procurement department.
• Meetings: Attend weekly meetings, update work progress, and follow-up on meeting actions.
