Alternate Compliance Officer

• Responsibilities:
• Support the Compliance Officer in all day-to-day AML/CFT/CPF compliance activities.
• Assist in designing and maintaining a robust compliance framework aligned with UAE Central Bank regulations.
• Ensure the institution's adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for the compliance team and guide them on daily tasks in the Compliance Officer's absence.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, on compliance matters.
• Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
• Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of proven AML/CFT compliance experience within a UAE-based bank or exchange house.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ICA Diplomas, CAMS, ACFCS, CFE) are required.
• Being a Central Bank of UAE approved compliance personnel (current or past) is highly desirable.
• Experience interacting with UAE regulators and competent authorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Law, or Economics.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
