Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager will be a key leader in the daily operations of the front-of-house, ensuring an exceptional fine dining experience. You will support the Restaurant Manager in all facets of the business, including staff supervision, service execution, administrative duties, and guest satisfaction. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and motivate the front-of-house team (Waiters, Hostess, Baristas, Food Runners) to deliver 5-star service. Assist in staff training and development.
• Customer Service: Professionally handle guest complaints, resolve issues, and ensure a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
• Administrative Support: Assist with inventory control, scheduling, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting.
• Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the fine dining or high-end hospitality sector.
• Exceptional Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to inspire a team and build rapport with guests.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic restaurant administration.
• Deep understanding of fine dining service standards and wine/beverage knowledge is a plus.
