Commis 1 – Italian Cuisine

We are hiring a passionate and skilled Commis 1 to join our dynamic kitchen team at a popular Italian restaurant in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and dishes as per restaurant recipes.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared on time and up to quality standards.
• Support the kitchen team in daily operations, especially during peak hours.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and maintain stock levels efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in an Italian or continental restaurant.
• Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, sauces, and plating.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Culinary diploma or relevant training is an advantage.
