City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis 1 to join our Kitchen team. This role is a vital step in a culinary career, focusing on supporting senior chefs and mastering basic preparation techniques in a dynamic hotel kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie and other senior chefs with mise en place and food preparation for various kitchen sections.
• Ensure the kitchen section is kept clean, organized, and compliant with all hygiene standards.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently and communicate effectively within the team.

Requirements:

• Must be currently based in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
• Strong passion for cooking and a genuine willingness to learn and accept direction.
• Solid knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as a reliable part of a team.
