We are seeking a Commis Chef to specialize in the Pizza section. The role is focused on the preparation of dough, assembly of ingredients, and baking pizzas to consistent, high-quality standards. Enthusiasm for working with dough and familiarity with commercial pizza ovens are essential.
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough and ensure proofing and quality control standards are met.
- Prepare and organize all toppings, sauces, and ingredients for the pizza station.
- Assemble, bake, and garnish pizzas accurately and swiftly during service.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pizza station and the oven area.
- Assist with inventory and stock checks for the pizza ingredients.
- Requirements:
- Basic experience in a professional kitchen, with preference given to candidates with baking or pizza experience.
- Understanding of dough preparation and fermentation processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-temperature environment.
